Pest control: How to Prepare Neemastra

Neemastra is a Natural Insecticide / Pesticide mixture to control the dangers of nymph-sucking insects and mealybugs.

Ingredients Required for Neemastra

  • 200 Liter water
  • 10 Liter Cow Urine
  • 10Kg Desi Cow Dung
  • 10 Kg Neem Leaves and Stems

Preparation method of Neemastra:

  • Add the Cow's Urine of 10 Litres with 200 Litres of Water.
  • And add 10Kgs of Cow Dung to the water as well.
  • Crush the 10Kgs of Neem Leaves.
  • Allow this solution to ferment for 24 hours.
  • And Stir the mixture twice a day by using a wooden stick.
  • After that Filter, the solution using a cloth and use it.

Note:

  • Please use a wooden stick for Stir the mixture should be cleaned before & after the usage so that to avoid maggots formations in the pesticide.
  • The mixture should be kept in the shade and covered with a wire mesh or plastic mosquito net.
  • To prevent houseflies laying eggs and the growth of maggots (worms) in the Neemastra pesticide.
  • Daily the pesticide should be Stir twice daily.

The ideal time for spraying is from 6 am to 8.30 am and between 4 pm and 6.30 pm.
